Venue and Seating Information
Located at 1026 Spring Garden St, Philadelphia, PA 19123, Union Transfer is a restored former luggage transfer station with exposed brick and an industrial feel. The venue can accommodate up to 1,200 people and is primarily a general-admission, standing-room concert hall. The open main floor keeps the crowd close to the stage, while the historic interior gives the room a distinctive character.
For the most immersive view, the center of the main floor is a strong choice, though it can fill quickly near the stage. The balcony or mezzanine offers an elevated perspective when available for a show. Areas along the far sides may have more limited sightlines depending on the stage setup; seating and access arrangements can vary by event.
Parking Information
Union Transfer does not have an on-site parking lot. Drivers commonly consider nearby street parking or paid facilities in the Callowhill and Spring Garden area. Availability and rates can change, so check posted signs and current lot information before leaving your vehicle.
- Street parking: Surrounding streets may have free parking after 6 p.m. on some blocks; restrictions vary, and arriving early can improve the chances of finding a space.
- Nearby surface lots: Private lots in the Callowhill area are listed at estimated rates of about $6–$20, subject to change.
- PPA garages: Garages in the area are listed at estimated rates of about $10–$20 and are generally within walking distance.
Because parking can be limited during events, rideshare drop-off and pickup near Spring Garden Street is another option. If driving, confirm the price and operating details directly with the parking provider; the estimates above are not guaranteed.
